This presentation was given as part of the Friday Hang Outs Series by the Australian Society of Genealogists (SAG).

The issue of where Robert Redfern (my 3rd great grandfather) and his siblings were born has been discussed for over one hundred years according to family letters and other researchers.  Are we English or Irish?  Turning to DNA for a possible answer, or at least a way to determine the answer, this presentation outlines the story thus far.  Spoiler Alert: It’s still a work in progress.
